Acceptable Use and Event Content Policy
Rules for genuine, lawful, and safe use of Tonèl.
Core rule
Use Tonèl only for genuine, lawful events and legitimate event operations. Do not mislead people about the organizer, venue, date, admission, performers, sponsors, or endorsements.
Prohibited content and conduct
- Illegal activity, fictitious events, scams, phishing, impersonation, or unauthorized ticketing.
- Credible threats, incitement of violence, targeted harassment, stalking, or doxxing.
- Exploitation, trafficking, child sexual-abuse material, or sexual exploitation of minors.
- Unlawful weapons or drug trafficking and violent-extremist recruitment, operational support, or fundraising.
- Hateful conduct that calls for exclusion, dehumanization, or violence based on protected characteristics.
- Malicious code, credential theft, unauthorized access, interference, or bypassing security and rate limits.
- Fake attendance, deceptive scarcity, undisclosed required fees, fabricated reviews, or discovery manipulation.
- Selling or harvesting attendee data or using event-operation data for marketing without separate permission.
- Copying, reselling, or transferring credentials outside Tonèl’s official transfer process.
Higher-risk events
Tonèl may require identity or organization verification, permits, venue confirmation, age disclosures, safety plans, or additional review for events involving minors, regulated activity, large crowds, high-risk physical activity, adult themes, political activity, or credible safety concerns. Paid political promotion is unavailable in V1.
Reports and enforcement
Reports should identify the event, explain the concern, and include relevant evidence where safe. Do not submit passwords, full ticket secrets, government identifiers, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Depending on severity and evidence, Tonèl may request clarification, require corrections, pause reservations, remove an event, revoke credentials, restrict a team member, or suspend an organizer. Imminent danger, child safety, fraud, or a valid legal demand may justify immediate action. An appeal process and reporting address will be published before broad launch.
